Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc. is one of 175 autonomous agencies that belong to the national organization of Goodwill's who are all varied in their service deliver but are all dedicated to service to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.  The website www.goodwill.org, provides information on a Goodwill's national and global capacities and gives contact information for all our membership.

The Coastal Community Learning Collaborative and COMCAST Cable offer workshops and classes as presented by The Free University Project.   This program offers free college level courses via the internet and cable television to allow for higher learning for all. The Georgia State Division of Rehabilitation Services www.vocrehabga.org, provides services to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to successfully achieve employment.  They are a leading referral source for our agency and many other who provide vocational rehabilitation and other employment and training services.

The Georgia State Department of Labor has recently upgraded its services to state-of-the-art computer-based job-seeking assistance.  Visit http://www.dol.state.ga.us/ for more information.
