Goodwill Industries' Industrial Contracts Division provides high quality services at an affordable price.  We specialize in performing labor-intensive tasks such as assembly, packaging, bulk mailing and more.  We also have an outstanding custodial division to meet commercial cleaning needs throughout the Coastal Empire, Low Country and Golden Isles.

We take the burden of many companies by providing labor and facilities that would make many projects cost prohibitive. Companies utilize temporary employees to accomplish short term projects or to fill a labor shortage.  Many times these employees lack basic work ethics and commitment.  This often costs the company even more money while not meeting production and quality standards necessary to satisfy the customer.  Our training surpasses the basic job functions by focusing on basic work ethics, employer expectations, productivity and responsibility in the workplace.  We have staff members dedicated to meeting the needs of the customer who work in conjunction with the supervisors to ensure that the required quality and production values are met or exceeded.

While companies benefit from quality, affordable services performed in our facilities or theirs, trainees benefit from receiving work skills training while earning a wage.  The end result is a company who spends less time and money to get a specific job accomplished while helping others become independent tax-paying citizens.

The following is a partial list of companies who have benefited from their relationship with Goodwill's  Industrial Contracts Division.

Commercial Custodial Services

Goodwill is proud to be a partner with NISH , a national non-profit agency that creates employment and training opportunities for people with severe disabilities.   This is accomplished through participation in the Javits-Wagner-O-Day Program by providing professional and technical assistance to not-for-profit Community Rehabilitation Programs and their federal partners.  Through this partnership, Goodwill has acquired three extensive custodial contracts with the Federal Government.  Our employees and trainees work diligently to provide a wide range of custodial services to the U.S. Federal Buildings and Courthouse in Savannah and the Federal Law Enforcment Training Center (F.L.E.T.C) in Brunswick, Georgia.  We also provide custodial services for approximately ninety-six buildings at Fort Stewart Army Base in Hinesville, Georgia.

Aside from our federal contracts, we also currently provide custodial services to twelve large churches in the Savannah area and anticipate the addition of two more churches by Fall 2000.

Through all of these contracts, our clients receive "real-world" training that will prepare them to succeed in the competitive labor market.

Goodwill is proud of our ability to serve our Industrial Contracts customers but do not limit ourselves to the areas listed above.  We are always interested in new ways to provide training and employment to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment while saving our customers time and money.
